Would recommend to all, suitable for all ages and all types of holiday requirements. Great for couples, families and the retirees. So much to do on the site, activities for all ages or, like for us, quiet places around the camp to walk in peace and sit admiring the surroundings. You can do as much or as little as you please. Fabulous caravans to very high standards and excellent food catering for all tastes at reasonable prices.
Such a great holiday we have already booked to return March and September next year
We have stayed at Hopton a few times as we find it is the most pleasant site we have visited. We were apprehensive of how our holiday would be affected with the COVID restrictions in place but they did an amazing job at making our holiday as close to the same as before the pandemic. The staff and venues did not disappoint either. I love the fact we can order our pizza and drinks from the app and the booking system (although does need some work) guarantees you will have a table at the restaurant or marina bar without the stress of having to get there early. My only quibble is that booking a place in the pool was frustrating and unless you book within 10 minutes of the slots going live, you lose out. We only managed to find 1 booking in our whole week away and we had to push for that slot too.
The staff were all great in all the venues and felt very safe and looked after on park.
We would like to give a particular mention to your Fun Star Sophie who was amazing despite the challenging environment they are working with. She was absolutely what your Fun Stars should be, warming, friendly, entertaining and did her best to make sure everyone was having a good time. Always there if we had a question. I do believe she deserves some special recognition before the winter break. I do hope you welcome her back into one of your sites next year.
